Comforting words:

 

 

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy. (Ps 147:11).

 

Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.(Matt 5:7)

 

The #Lord is gracious, and full of #compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.(Ps145:8-9)

 

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth. (Ps 57: 9-11).                                 

             

Remember, O Lord, thy #tendermercies and thy #lovingkindness; for they have been ever of old. He does not neglect the poor or ignore their sufferings: He does not turn away from them but answers when they call for help (Ps 22:24)

I love the Lord, because He hears me: He listens to my prayers. He listens to me every time I call to him. (Psalm 116: 1-2).

His anger lasts only a moment, his goodness for a lifetime. Tears may flow in the night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30: 5).  

You are my refuge &defence; Guide me & lead me as you have promised. Keep me safe from the trap that has been set for me; shelter me from danger.(P31; 3-4)

The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. (Lamentations 3; 22-23).

#Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; to not be afraid. (John14: 27).

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.(Jeremiah 29:11).

Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress: have mercy on me and hear my prayer. (Psalm 4:1)

In you 0 Lord are my hopes and my dreams, enable those thoughts of my inner being to manifest outwardly Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man; so I will keep thy precepts.(Ps119:133-134.

God be #merciful unto us and #blessus, and cause his face to shine upon us. That thy way may be known upon the earth, thy saving health among all nations.(Psalm 67:1-2)
